Here is my first attempt at creating an original typeface. Feldspar is a Grotesk Sans-serif face at its root, but I added a touch of variation to give it a little more personality. Creating a typeface was one of the most arduous and rewarding things I’ve done to date. The process gave me a much deeper, more personal understanding of typography and its uses, and vastly improved my game. I hope to add an italic and bold weight to Feldspar in the near future.
